Finding hard to memorize components of a letter? Then typeisart.com is going to help you! It is an interactive Flash-based public project that is aimed… well, it’s not really aimed at anything but anyone can learn from it and just have fun or kill couple of spare minutes playing with letterforms.
“Type is Art allows for experimentation of forms beyond this typical character set”. It gives users an opportunity to learn components of a letter as well as create wild abstract shapes that come into mind by repositioning, scaling and joining letterforms. It is not possible to change or distort the typeface (as a good typographer should never do anyway) but no one forbids you from creating whatever you can imagine!
